As you may have noticed, ausculture.com hasn’t been as lovingly updated as it once was. I’m sure no one reading this is dying to know the details of my life, but let’s just say I’m packing for an interstate move in two days time, madly finishing off some work, packing my possessions and getting far too drunk with beloved friends at my side. The blog, sadly, has had to pay the price.
BUT!
Once I’m settled in (give me another week), I’ll get to posting regularly constantly. Seriously, you’ll all be like “Geez, guys, give it a fucking rest! I’ve had it just about up to here with your pop-culture related ramblings! How many updates can one site reasonably do in a day, and regardless of the answer WHY HAVE YOU EXCEEDED THAT?!” Etc.
Back soon. Patrick may choose to pump out some posts during my absence, but then again he’s probably too busy being mysterious and lurking in the (internerd) shadows.
See you soon x
PS: Green Wing is the greatest show on television.

Good luck with the move. And by the way, Drawn Together is actually the best show ever.

the drink.
moving is the cunt of all cunts but i’ve found a perfect and completely novel remedy for moving stress: pickle yourself. wallowing in an earth-sized vat of beer/voddie/red ned and any other splishysplashy related substances (INCLUDING WEST COAST COOLERS) you can get yer tremor wracked hands on really DOES ease the pain!
course, my recent move was only a jaunty stroll from previous digs. for the interstate dislocation you might need to shift things up a notch and immerse yourself in the healing goodness of the 10 tonne truck o lard.
good luck. xoxox nora
