Hey kids - do you like violence? Wanna watch me stick Nine Inch Nails through each one of my eye lids?
Well, I’m afraid I haven’t had a chance to pop by the hardware store so your inexplicable desire to see me jam long bits of metal into my retinas will have to sadly remain an unfulfilled dream. For now at least.
But if you are looking to wile away the hours doing… erm… “stuff”, then I have two suggestions for you.
Number One
I’m not sure if what we’re doing counts as punning or whether we’re just cracking really awful jokes based on rubbish pictures, but feel free to frolic over to PUNOGRAPHY INC.
Number Two
Housemate Ol is a genius for many reasons, but here’s the latest. The team behind the popular MusicMax Nineties quiz has banged out another fun online game called Mr Golden Goes Choccie Mad. The game has been designed with five to twelve year olds in mind, and since that’s about on par with the maturity level of the average ausculture.com reader (and ausculture.com’s writers, frankly), I thoroughly recommend you head over and have a bash. There are rumours that the character of Mr Golden is based on Shane Warne, so keep an eye out in case the festively plump little fella pulls out his mobile phone and begins texting.
And please feel free to keep the suggestions of fun web-based things to do coming in the SCREAM! thread. Look at us - scratching each other’s virtual backs. I’m almost moved to tears, I tell you. Tears!

I just spent an hour getting to the top of the scoreboard, only to find out that I’m nowhere near the top of the weekly/all-time score board!

I’m missing Timmy badly too, we don’t often get sweet, gentle, articulate, smart men on TV. what am I supposed to do to fill the void, if you live in Sydney - you lucky buggers Timmy is out and about at footy matches & Diva things, but what about the rest of us? Well, I’m being an annoying pest wherever I can, agitating to get Timmy somewhere on my screen. Send messages to media people & managers (harrymmiller- target him he manages BB hms). Here is a start people, request him on Denton - plently of us have ;)

From: NM Date: 19/08/2005 3:21 Suggested Guest: Tim Brunero bigbrother runner up Why: Have you been on the internet???No one thinks he should have lost!Theres a big bruha ha about weather the voting was fair.He has interesting and controversial viewpoints.Comment on this messageCommentsYes please have Tim Brunero on. He was by far the moast interesting person on Bigbrother so far! Dan 20/08/2005 12:39Absolutely - he is the only articulate and intelligent person to have ever featured on the show.Too embarrassed to admit I watch Big Brother! 20/08/2005 10:26Oh yes please. He’s just so likeable and lucid. I absolutely would love to see more of him. Most of my friends would disown me if they knew how much I watched of the final month of Big Brother, I feel otherwise very sheepish about it. But there’s just something very magnetic and pleasing about him; his clarity of thought and consistency of behaviour. (Only my husband really knows the unexpected tv habit; he had to put up with it because we’re still in the first happy flush of marriage.) Sally 21/08/2005 6:25i dont think he should lost.. it is a bit unfair. the logans dont deserve the money! Cynthia Foo 22/08/2005 2:47Tim should have won - by Logan Dave having the advantage of being outof the house and waging a financial campaign for Greg to win (in taking out a $100,000 loan to rig the votes) Tim lost out and so did Tims fans. I feel ripped off. Tim should at least be given the balance of the million dollar prize money.I hope Tim can be interviewed by Andrew. A Seno 22/08/2005 10:51I would be very interested in hearing what Tim has to say about our current political environment and whether he feels his success on BB can be used as a platform for a political career. Further I am fascinated by his admiration for his father and family - normally left types are rebelling against parental figures and by extension society. In the age of XBox and PlayStation where has this articulate, intelligent and moral Gen X’er come from?Is Tim (and similar social justice oriented youth) the future in Australian politics? Or will conservitism continue to reign supreme on our political landscape? Luke 22/08/2005 3:06Absolutely, I wholeheartedly agree!!you must must have Tim Brunero on as a guest on your show!! (exclamation mark ad infinitum)Jazarus 22/08/2005 11:14I am another Tim Brunero fan, both for his open political stance and for his admirable character. He has to be the most respected and respect-able [sic] participant in a reality TV show, ever. There is more there to explore now he is out and can give us his impressions of the reality TV experience with regard to his and the other housemates’ politics, etc. Lis 23/08/2005 11:39I’ve been a fan of Enough Rope since its beginnings and would also love to see Tim Brunero on the show. He’s about the only one who’s been “on the inside” of the reality television world that’s also intelligent and articulate enough to really shed some coherent light on it. His involvement in and views on politics would also provide for some interesting conversation! Like some of those above, I’m a little embarrassed to admit that I watched Big Brother at all, but I only watched this year, and that’s only because Tim aroused my interest. I think he’d make a fascinating guest. We all know Andrew’s views on Big Brother as a concept, and I tend to agree with him, but Tim’s different Andrew! andrew d 23/08/2005 5:26There is so much more to this guy than meets the eye. He’s a class above any other Big Brother housemate which makes him unique. I would absolutely LOVE to hear his story.Zee Han 24/08/2005 11:06yes please. I’d love to hear Tim’s ARTICULATE analysis of being in the BB experience - as opposed to any of the other HMs they’ve had over five years. Mel 24/08/2005 4:47VESNA SHOULD HAVE WON. SHE WINGED AND GAVE US SOMETHING TO WATCH SHE ALWAYS HAD DRAMAS AND WAS EXCITING. TIM WAS TOO NICE AND PLAYED THE GAME. STACY 25/08/2005 10:34Would love to see more of Tim, especially now he is out of the house. I am sure he would make a fabulous and interesting guest. He was by far the best participant on BB ever.Mel 25/08/2005 8:16Love Tim ..i would really enjoy seeing Tim get some air time …ie a show such as yours Andrew … Alicia 25/08/2005 9:05tim has been the best and far the most interesting housemate since the series has started,i can honestly say even my kids took notice on how he conducted himself in the house,he really is a wonderful role model to teens.we would love to hear more about his family life and his opinions in a interview with you andrew margie, eria, beth, owen 27/08/2005 8:15Yes, I’d love to hear what this intelligent, articulate bloke has to say about the reality TV experience from the inside.Tracy 28/08/2005 5:48 End Quote Go to - there are more threads requesting the same: http://www2b.abc.net.au/guestbookcentral/entry.asp?GuestbookID=29&EntryID=336542
