Questions, Questions…

This was just asked in the Nelson\Constance chat on the official site. And please don’t ask why I was in the chat*…

gabjen Anti-semite or just an idiot ?
Nelson just an idiot

Well, at least he admits that much. Kudos for asking and getting your question through, gabjen

*Okay, I wanted a chance to tell him what a twat he was, and I did - but it wasn’t published by the moderator. Moving on…

In the aftermath of the double eviction, Dean is still adamant that he’s done the right thing. Geneva is devastated that Constance and Nelson have been taken away from her again. Gianna tries to comfort her: “Yeah. They’re like those people who give things and then take them away: Indian givers.”

Being originally from North America, I find it wierd that this isn’t considered racial vilification on the same level as Nelson calling big brother a Jew.

We were never allowed to say that at school and you would certainly never say it in the work place.

Will Gianna be awarded a strike for this?

I agree.

“Indian Giver” is just as discriminatory as calling someone a “Jew”.

more strikes

apparently glenn was given a strike for a racist joke? still no reaction to indian giver… wierd… does big brother have no clue? or does he just decide what is “racist” or not according to what he finds offensive? basically it should be all or nothing, not just certain things - that’s just some how wrong, i reckon…

If Nelson’s getting nothing from BB, why is he participating in all their chat’s, etc.

Something’s fishy… nevermind, it’s just this salmon under my arm.

Contactual obligation...

BB housemates undoubtedly sign a long, complex contract to go in the house, and are paid a stipend (this was revealed when the Tax Office was discussing the tax status of the winner; they argued that since they were paid by the producers it was akin to employee incentives and thus taxable).

If he doesn’t do the required interviews I’d imagine he could be sued for breach of contract.

Is there a transcript of the chat posted anywhere? I can’t find it on the OS?

I have to say… I quite liked Constance. She had a good sense of humour when not complaining…

Constance: My boyfriend, in my clothes.*”
