Richard Wilkins is the dark horse in this competition, no doubt about that. In true aquarium-imitating-life fashion, Richard Wilkins is actually a scum sucking bottom feeder - yes, he’s a catfish. And a bone-chillingly menacing one at that. In the half hour between being bought from the pet store and being placed in the tank, he attempted to escape no less than three times. We’re not sure whether cat fish actually have teeth, but there’s still an uneasy feeling amongst the housemates that Richard Wilkins would easily manage to rip off a man’s finger if given half a chance.
Since being placed in the tank, Richard Wilkins has lurked in appropriately evil style in the hollowed out dungeon at the bottom of the ceramic medieval castle in the aquarium, only emerging from the dark depths to feed or frighten Angela Bishop into swimming near the dangerous filter bubbles. We would not be surprised if he had managed to sneak a weapon in under his whiskers.
