The gals at CFB Goes Pop have launched a campaign called Scat Aid - and you know how we love campaigns (see Graxon, Oz Band Aid, etc)! You can read all about it here but the basic premise is that IF twenty blogs mention Collette before December 15th, then the peeps behind CFB Goes Pop will sponsor a child in Africa through World Vision. Word to the cause!
As you can see, the CFB crew’s plan cleverly merges two things that we adore. As we said earlier, it’s a campaign and we like to think if ausculture.com were a real live person, it’d be a stinking hippy activist.
But it’s not just a campaign - it’s a campaign involving Collette - and I think we all know how much ausculture.com love stalking ‘bout Collette!
So there we were, all set to scan and post an EXCLUSIVE picture of the lady herself from a Who Magazine circa 1996 (thus simultaneously indulging in Collette chit-chat AND helping Scat Aid) but I forgot to scan the picture! And I won’t be able to scan it till tomorrow night! Schmozzle!
Therefore, keep your fingers crossed that this very post, although sadly lacking visual Collettery, will be enough to count towards the 20 Collette Post figure and thus help a starving little child get sponsored. Yay for decent charities!
PS: For those who care, work-based stalking of you know who has stalled, although there are Christmas drinks next week and I am hoping - nay, praying - that She Who Doth Get Her Belleths Rungeth will be there and I can exclusively interview her.

I’d like to participate in this campaign too, hopefully it’s not too hard to work Colette into a fashion-challenged blog.
Oh and regarding your Angelina Jolie theory from before, I have nothing really of substance to add other than I came across a short clip of her lesbian love scene in Gia. Not that I went specifically browsing for any such thing….So let me know if you want the URL.

It’d be touching to see Collette mentioned on a fashion site, if only for use great use of fun foam pens!
