I mean, I dunno - I can’t think of any other reason why they’d put a statement like “Paid To Be Pointless - Andrew Bolt’s View” on their home page unless they’d had a management meeting and decided to go for a new ultra-honest style. I like it. Will other News Ltd websites go for similar “truth in advertising” based approaches? Can we expect the Daily Telegraph to proclaim “Piers Ackerman - What A Cunt, Don’t You Reckon?” Or perhaps we’ll see The Australian proudly exalting “Janet Albrechtsen - She’s Our Right-Wing Skanky Ho!”
I like this new, super-truthful News Ltd. Three thumbs up.
