The light fantastic

Bad news - 50% of ausculture.com readers are smarter than the other half. So, there’s a pretty good chance that you’re one of the stupid ones… Yeah, I’m looking at you. The good news is that 90% of readers are actually funnier, smarter and better looking than 100% of the writers… which explain why people read ausculture.com. That doesn’t count you though, you’re part of the 10%.

At any rate, having been informed that the smart ones have attention spans of 30 seconds whilst the stupid ones (like myself) have attention spans of only 25 seconds I’ve started to think that perhaps… ummm, I forget, stuff it.

Has anyone read the article Gender-bender turns full circle? Apart from the title of the article reminding me of Futurama I do think that perhaps we have a new poster man/woman/man for indecision. I mean I fully support freedom of choice but really… when you’re making a decision about getting a sex change you should probably ask yourself the question “will I want to change back again in 25 years?” before you go ahead with it. But hey, good luck to them.

I was going to give some more commentary on the news but when we have that story, P Diddy wanting to be James Bond, and plans to offer free testing of Ecstacy for purity to ravers I think I’d rather just sharpen a pencil and ram it into my eyeball.
