Frente! Loving! Unabashed!

Sorry Elmo baby, but I’ve gotta say… I’m slightly pumped for tonight’s sold out Frente reunion gig at The Annandale!

And guess what - I’ve also got a DIGITAL CAMERA for the night! Hello, and welcome to 1998, ausculture.com! Prepare for a veritable bevy of photos, some even of the band as opposed to my bright red converse shoes.

PS: Krankiboy - gutted to miss your cyber-love fest, but I hope you looked after all the lady bloggers involved, especially the Ellen to my Portia Ms Fits (“She’s a woman, you know what I mean… You better listen, listen to me!”) and Mallrat from Brave Our Burbs.

I remember how badly the media and even comedians buried them in the early 90’s. They were undeserving of the media hiding they copped.

It was like, here is this young band that play guitar pop and don’t sound like Chisel or Crowded House, so let’s bash on them.
