Today’s list is one with infinite pub-debate potential - Empire magazine have rated the Top 100 Actors of all time and, as news.com.au excitedly points out, there are actually some Australian’s on the roll of honour! Well, three out of a hundred isn’t too bad (in the ‘not all that good’ sense). The lucky and talented actors are Nicole Kidman, Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett.
Unfortunately, I can’t find the entire list published anywhere, but news.com.au have supplied us with the Top Ten so at the very least, we’ll heckle that.
What a load of nonsense. An ausculture.com Top 10 Greatest Actors list would be far more accurate and objective. Ahem. Allow us to share with you who we think constitute the Top 10 and the specific movie(s) they should be glorified for.

That sounds like an awful lot of work, babes - perhaps we’ll just start posting various Top Ten lists regarding all sorts of things… will that be enough? Don’t make me… (gasp) research!

Dammit! I knew I forgot someone! How could I pick a Bio-Dome co-star and forget the acting god that was Pauly Shore. Just watched Son In Law the other night for the first time in like, a decade. Classic champagne comedy!

Rob Schneider 4th place?

A valid suggestion - his portrayal of a confused man living life with a disability in The Animal was a shocking omission from 2002’s Oscar nominees list, and Michael Caton also unfairly missed industry kudos after also delivering a stirring performance.

Elizabeth Berkeley warrants a place on my list for her wonderful performance in Showgirls.

The only movie I remember walking out on: Jury Duty (starring Pauly Shore). For that he holds a mediocre place in my memories. He should have died after “Encino man” in relative glory.
