I wonder if your campaign, last week had any bearing on this outcome, I know I threw half as many votes at Ves as I did for Greg.

On the BB web site today:

"As of 12:30pm today, one of the final two had 51.5% of votes, and the other had 48.5% of votes. There is nothing in it! To make sure your favourite HM wins, don't forget to vote for them."

Can it be true?

i almost don't want to get too excited......but I am starting to feel like Tim might actually win!!!!

I really don't care that I was evicted BECAUSE I will not have to turn into some white-washed plastic doll a la Sara-Marie. My soul will remain intact, unlike that of Greg and Tim (who are both so dull they don't even rate).

Funny, coz the poll on the BB site (bottom right if you follow the link above) says 62% think Tim'll win and 38% say Greg.

Don't forget the voting is different to last year. If you want Tim to win you must text "Greg" to SMS 19 10 10.

The website is a bit vague about this - and I'd hate to think that people assumed it was the same as last year - and were voting for the wrong person.

U can vote once a day on the popularity poll while you can vote to evict a housemate as many times as your budget allows. That is why there is a discrepancy between popularity and eviction vote. So keep voting to EVICT greg (the other guy).

With Vesna gone Tim is easily a shoe in, Greg may go strong with the younger girls with his overdeveloped pectorials but EVERYONE LOVES LEFTY TIM.

I can't believe that I feel so nervous, want Tim to win so badly. Timmy (& Ves) the only reason BB will survive this ghastly season. I have loved these last 3 and what a fantastic truimph over the pigs they had to live with - I just want to see the smugos having to grovel to Timmy and huge amounts of gorgeous women falling all over sweet Timmy. If Tim managed to triumph over Vesna only to lose to the twins, it will be the biggest farce in BB history. Even the people who voted for Greg to win will be disappointed, somewhere deep, deep within.

I wouldn't pin my hopes on such a question. A better question would be, "For whom do you intend to vote?" Answers to which could be:

I won't be voting because it's rigged anyway

Dear sweet Timmy, how stressed & nervous he looked, he looked like he didn't know what to think right up to that horrible announcement - and now I don't know what to think, so sad. And gorgeous Ves should have been 2nd to Tim. I feel gutted and I intend to blame bogan Dave - bet he did take out that rumoured big loan for votes to win. Don't think I can take this again, I don't ever want to like HMs as much as I liked Tim & Ves only to see them robbed. I live in hope still that T&V will get their own gig out of this. Ah, something just dawned on me - this solves the problem of whether each twin gets a car & prizes or not if they are one person. Gretel when presenting the 2nd place prizes, very pointedly told us only one of you/2nd place person gets those, with the emphasis on 'one' - was she sending us messages.

I was starting to think this was one of the better finales of BB (I like the whole 'them watching along too' thing and getting to interact and stuff) but no, then Gretel and voting Australia goes and ruins it. Now that has ruined this entire series for me. Mind you, what were we honestly thinking? A genuinely nice, loveable, fun, intelligent, witty guy who isn't one of the hot ones and it a bit older...being voted to win something..anything...by the Australian public? When there's a superficial, more cutesy and more attractive, young guy who could be voted for instead? Of course Greg won, this is Australia we're talking about. Oh I'm so mad at Australia now and all the stupid superficial mainstream people. I hate mainstream!!! stomps feet and pouts

Tim had way more highlights then the logans combined. Yet they showed alot more logan greg and cocklump dave. Did anyone hear heath say he was going bash tim and be prepared at one point when greko was talking?

Heartbreaking it feels awful doesn't it? Hated the last 2 days. Rally and campaign to get Timmy (& Ves please) a deal on Tv or radio, please, please, please. That slot that sleazy dogs has late night, would be a start.

Hi, I'm a big Tim fan from way across the world - a Canadian living in Washington state, USA. I am absolutely devoid of words (ok ok I exaggerate a bit), to say how disappointed I was in the outcome of last night's vote.

At the risk of sounding a poor "loser", I can't help but wonder what the vote results would have been if the deadline had not been extended as it was?

There is no doubt in my mind that Tim was and still is the absolute star & winner of this show. His candor, intelligence, warmth and wacky sense of humour were too much for me - I absolutely fell head over heels for the guy!

Now unless I sound like a sick would be stalker, rest assured I am happily engaged and not likely to pack it all in to move down under to stalk the high priest of the War on Filth!

Anyhow, thanks for providing a forum where one can come to vent their frustrations and thoughts at yet another injustice in this unfair world we call Earth.

Tim lost because he is emotionally void. When hearing from his family whom he hadn't had any contact with for 3 months ... nothing. Not a tear, not a sad little tale, nothing.

I thought Tim's interaction with his father was warm and loving ....much more so than Greg's awkward moment with his twin.....

I also thought that the section where Tim discussed wanting to be like his Dad and find the best in people, to enjoy being around them etc was so touching......I think you have done your father proud Tim, that was the most impressive thing about you in the house ( and thats saying alot, because you were fantastic in so many ways.)

And i have to admit i shed a tear on the final games night, when Tim was on the beam hanging from the crane and repeated to himself " dads watching, dad's watching"....

I thought Tim was very warm, loving, emotional and sensitive.

And i still can't believe he lost to the twins!!! ......longer voting time to show more positive footage of the twins and more of Tim's obsession over Kate, which doesnt do him any favours in the voting Im sure.....why not some footage of his hilarious whacky sense of humour?????? MORE WAR ON FILTH FOOTAGE!!!! Then we would have had a lefty win for sure.....

1st, may I say people with the kind of wonderful relationship Timmy has with his family don't get as emotional about the messages from home because they know they are loved & respected and close, they are enveloped in a warm loving security - this is partly why Tim is what he is. People like Greg who has hardly seen or contacted his family for years (he was in hopsital for goodness sake and they didn't even know)- well they have issues, same for Ves, the issues cause the tears baby.

And now a plea to all Tim supporters here - please don't just let him fade away, please join me in writing to anyone and everyone to get him on TV (& Ves too pretty please). Q Anyone have a cure for the gutted sad feeling?

I think some people are investing a little too much emotion in this popularity contest.

Oh yeah. Dave and Greg's awkward, silence-filled "Hey maaayte, how ya going maaayte?" banter at the finale made my heart swell with emotion.
