The Live Results: Adam’s ‘On The Spot’ Thoughts

Ladies and gentlemen - without any ado whatsoever, allow me to introduce Adam from Quixotic Boards (which is currently offline, but anyways…) He has delightfully responded to my call to arms, and for that I am very much grateful. Disagree with him? Want to lick his inner thigh? Comment below!

Well… that left me… empty. Why exactly are Hayley and Marty still there? Who votes for these people!? (glares)

And on a more important note: Dicko is the marketing manager of BMG right? Yet has anyone else noticed how he consistently incorrectly guesses what the public wants!? How the hell does he do his job properly? How can someone in marketing, especially music marketing, have so little idea about what the public want and desire!? He should be embarrassed!

im sorry, but your blog is so damn freaking whiney. all you ever do is cattily complain about everything. at least the bigbrother blog was entertaining and somewhat funny. you sound like a 15 year old. or maybe you are, and in that case, it figures.

a) Read the About section. You'll see I'm not 15. b) I don't think Adam's (yes, you'll note it was a guest post and this is not in fact Adam's blog) post was particularly whiney - at least not about anything that didn't deserve an odd whine. c) Even if it was, if things are shite we like to say so round these parts. d) If things are good (ie Chanel, etc) we also like to say so round here. e) Glad you liked the Big Brother blog. I apologise though if our catering to your every whim has been lacking in the Idol section.

Since we love constructive feedback, and your criticisms may well be correct, I would love some suggestions on how to improve. Perhaps you can send us a link to the witty, perpetually positive, wonderful Idol blog that you write? I would love some pointers as my Idol blogging momentum is waning and your justified attention to the Idol blogs flaws simply confirms my suspicion that I may not be contributing quality blog entries.

If this is indeed the case, I will happily throw in my Idol-blogging towel and concentrate on the equally worthy and time consuming task of critiquing Victoria Newtons column in The Sun.

Erm, I'm not as tired and emotional and brutally offended as the above response might lead you to believe :)

Yep. Marty fucking oath I hate you!!!!! evrery one stop voting for him!

Oh Shannon my dear, im not fifteen, in fact im 19. However that does not stop my little old whinger gland from working over time.

Australian Idol is getting quite shocking. These were my unconstructed thoughts which I wrote while actually watching the show. They were undrafted, and unedited. Im sorry that you feel they were whiney... but this is just my opinion and how I feel about the show. Perhaps you could forward Jess your own, differing opinion for her to post next week!!

As with the comparison between the bigbrother and idol blogs... Big Brother is a different beast to Australian Idol. Besides the fact that it is on every night, there is also plenty more things you can take the piss out of. Maybe the reason you are noticing a difference is because the shows are, in fact, not the same?
