Big Brother Speculation
smh.com.au really hasn’t been all that interested in Big Brother this year, other than when the “big stuff” occurs - Merlin’s protest, Bree’s re-entry, etc. Generally, all newspaper articles I link to regarding the show come straight from news.com.au who are willing to publish five hundred word stories online as soon as someone in the house farts. Imagine my surprise to discover that smh.com.au are actually experts!
I don’t mean to tease ‘em. It’s just they have seem rather disinterested, and possibly for good reason. Big Brother can be dicey during the best of years, but who’d want to bother constantly reporting on a Kris Noble production? (“Us.” - News Ltd, ausculture.com, Behind Big Brother…)
Anyways, I’ll let you check out the run down of the final five for yourself, and I’d be curious as to what feedback you have regarding it. Are they correct in their summations or hideously and grotesquely wrong?

Pretty spot on(which is a change for smh) i think the person who wrote that has been browsing the BBBA forums. Some of that looks familiar.

I want to see Trev win because he's the only housemate that hasn't pissed me off at some point in time during the series. Either him or Paul.
Ryan seems about as thick as two planks, Catherine is nice but rather dull and simplistic... Bree just plan pisses me off.

Ah! I remembered the other comment I wanted to make a few weeks ago.
Gretel- Gretel on TV to be exact. I don't know whether it is the camera angles or the lighting, but her eyes don't really appear to be all that open most of the time... just makes her look shifty and untrustworthy

Why Trevor? Why are we voting for the nice person? Why not the person who has had us tuned in every week? My choose would go to paul,Ryan,or Bree I i dont think people watch for the NICE GUY

Lets not have a footballer win. Please for the love of god. I have to say tho, Trev seems a top bloke and it would be nice for once to have someone who isnt a 'typical caucasion Aussie guy/battler' win (ignoring reggie of course)

The people who have had me tuning in every week are Paul and whoever he has been pissing off most of the time... Trev just seems like a fun guy who would be good to spend time with. I would not sit down for a beer with: Ryan- because he's a loud mouth centre of attention type of person Bree- she's just plain bitchy Catherine- have nothing in common with her
Hence I want Trev or Paul to win

Think they have missed Trevor's appeal, but a very shrewd analysis of Paul the know-it-all. Otherwise rather superficial.
Don't have a clear favourite this year, my thinking has been more in the negative - who I don't want to win. I'm wondering which version of the Australian legend will walk away with the cash this time, but hope it isn't 'the footy guy'.

Well...so far we've had two big cuddly teddy bears (for want of a better description) and a takeaway "chef"...surely someone with a brain wouldn't go astray, right?
I'd love to see Paul take it away, even though he pissed me off the first time I saw him, with his promise to "absolutely give it to his wife" when he gets home...go the shrewd surfie bum!

Finally someone who see's the simalarity between Trevor and the first two - and he is so playing the game he is very sure of himself He let that show when he said to ryan (I sure its between cat and paul you will be fine) Its not hard to figure out he has a huge chance of winning compare.....
