First of all, I have to admit that I never watched an episode of Popstars Live. As such, I’ve never heard Kayne Taylor sing before.
for some strange reason I went and had a look to see if I could find an audio file of Kayne’s debut single Heartbreaker using google. I hit pay-dirt.
Suffice to say, it’s no Popplers theme song. Still, Kayne sounds like a decent vocalist. I’m confused though, is Heartbreaker a cover or does it simply lack any real imagination?
Listen to Heartbreaker and decide for yourself.

Forget about Kayne Taylor. Whoever advised him to debut with that single needs to take a good look at his/herself. Only 40 people turned up to his Pitt Street signing last week. It simply aint going to happen for him. Miranda Murphy's single is released on July 11 and the fact that it is at least reasonably radio friendly gives it some chance of success - but i'm not predicting any Sebastian/Noll/Mills numbers at this stage.

After listening to the song in full for the first time, I have to say I really like. I would have thought it would have had more radio airplay.
Maybe the radio stations are boycotting the popstars in an attempt to keep their stations cred.
Poor Kayne... He is very talented. He should have waited for the next round of Aus Idol auditions instead of turning up to popstars.
I feel sorry for him if only 40 people turned up to his signing. Hang in there kayne. I think you'll get there eventually. Just disasocciate yourself from Popstars.
Maybe hang out for the next reality show which will find INXS a new lead singer. Could be just right for you!

your wrong...I have heard him before he even sung on Popstars Live...He has the talent that will stick forever...wake up Miranda wasn't good enough...if only 4o fans should have to his signing its not cause of Miranda...its because Popstars Live is growing old. More people would rather tune into Australian Idol not Popstars...so give him a break and give him a chance to shine...

I just can't understand why this song hasn't done better, i mean it debut at No.7 on the Arias i've never heard it on the radio only a snippet when they were interviewing him thats about it. the one thing i can't understand is that universal music has such high standards so what went wrong anyway he will blossom and we will see more of kayne in the future don't give up here, if he was on aus idol he be an absolute huge superstar by now.

Kaynes damn good. You listen to his voice...forget about popstars, forget about even the songs(which are good btw). just cauz hes popstars is y people think that he sux. All u people need to get a life just cause popstars was a flop doesnt nessesarily mean the hes a bad singer. Btw whoever said he should have gone on aus idol the age limits 28(how stupid!) kaynes 30 which was the limit on popstars live

I have seen him live three times now, twice at instores and once at the Melb Storm V Penrith game recently and he absolutely rocks live. His voice is sensational. He didn't fail the show, the show failed him, he was way too good for that show. Plus he is a super nice guy too- he adores his fans and makes time for absolutely everyone.
