I know it’s not Dolly Parton Appreciation Week any more, but how fabulous is this? Dolly has topped a list of the 100 Greatest Love Songs. Sure, it’s not for the magnificent Islands In The Stream, but we’ll overlook that.
Dolly came up trumps in Country Music Television’s list for her tune I Will Always Love You (butchered by Whitney Houston in the early nineties for The Bodyguard), a ode to her ex-collaborator Porter Wagoner.
This is further proof that Dolly Parton should rule the world. Or something.

Islands in the Stream even got a run by those homeless freaks on the Big Issue ad a while ago. Not the greatest rendition, but f*cken hilarious watching a few toothless half insane hobo's sing for booze money. hehe
Ok, i think i'll be burning in hell in 5 minutes from now.

I think Duncan Fellows might be in line before you. We had a similar ad over here (or did we watched the same ad, Pantsless Hans?!) so when I told Dunc while we were at a gig that I loved the song, he did a deadpan impression of the commercial.
Completely evil. I laughed my arse off. You bring the drinks and I'll bring the nibblies and we'll meet in hell in a few hours...

yeah it was the same ad Dollface. Saw it ages ago back in Oz. English TV makes me cry, not laugh.
